Alvaro Londoner

Well, and now is my moment of glory. I'm Alvaro, a Spaniard from Madrid, in my late 20's (becoming 30 feels a bit scary, but that's another story...) I moved to London 2 years ago, it's been a while!!
Before moving here I thought that 2 years would be the longest I was going to stay in this exciting and tough city. But moving back is not really in my mind yet. In Spain I used to watch a series called "Spaniards around the World" where spaniards living abroad used to tell their stories. The last question always was "Will you come back to Spain?" Everyone said yes, but don't know when or how...Right now I would answer the same.
I moved to this city looking for something, and after a lot of thinking I found the answer: A Challenge. My life was quite sorted in Madrid. Nice job, friends, nice flat in the city centre, family supporting me, everything was great...and easy.
The question in my head was: Do I deserve this life? Did I make this confortable life with my effort or I'm just a lucky guy who was luckily pushed by his parents to study and build a career. I would have never been able to answer that question if I had stayed. Now I know that I've been lucky but I have nuts to face up challenges.

London really changed me. Humble, determined, persistant and also a better person.
